Poetic Psychology

Healing Minds Through Poetry: The Psychology Behind Metaphors

I share my  poem and then unfold their hidden psychological meanings—revealing how metaphors heal, inspire, and reshape the human mind. A rare blend of art and psychology.

Poem

“In the silence of the night,
A storm whispers inside the chest,
Yet dawn carries golden threads,
Weaving hope through broken rest.”

                                                     Sid.

 Psychological Decoding:

Storm in the chest: Symbol of inner anxiety and suppressed emotions.

Silence of the night: Represents loneliness, when unspoken struggles surface.

Golden threads of dawn: Hope, resilience, and the subconscious belief in healing.

Weaving hope: The natural psychological process of recovery, our mind constantly seek balance.

Insight for Readers: This poem shows how the psyche, even in its darkest hour, generates “golden threads” of healing. Recognizing our metaphors can help us process emotions and move from anxiety toward resilience.
